There have been several theoretical approaches to adult learning which have proved to be beneficial for the research on adult learning. Some of the frameworks have helped researchers think about practices across various contexts of adult learning. Andragogy is arguably the best-known of these theoretical approaches. Malcolm Knowles is credited with bringing this framework to attention. Andragogy has been broadly debated by scholars, but still remains one of the most enduring and widely cited theories of adult learning (Merriam, 2001).When it comes to learning, andragogy assumes: adults need to know why they need to learn something; adults need to learn experientially; adults approach learning as problem-solving, and, adults learn best when the topic is of immediate value. These assumptions can be defined as theories of learning. Daniel Levinson s Seasons of Life Theory and Erik Erikson’s Stages of Identity Development are two theories of adult development that have a unique viewpoint and similar concepts concerning adult development. Adult development theories can be defined as theories used to identify patterns of life and to describe growth or changes in human behavior as individuals mature, (Knowles, Holton, Swanson, 2015). Daniel Levinson s theory is focused and centered on the life structure. Life structure can be defined as an underlying design of a person s life, consisting of relationships with significant others - individuals, groups, and institutions. Data Analysis And Data Processes - 1165 Words

Data Transformation are often very complex and is the most costly section of the ETL process. Transformations are often achieved outside the database using flat files, but mostly occurs within an Oracle database. The transform step applies rules or functions to the extracted data. These rules or functions will decide on the analysis of data and can involve transformations like the following: †¢ Data Summations †¢ Data Merging †¢ Data Encoding †¢ Data Splitting †¢ Data Calculations †¢ Creating Surrogate Keys †¢ Data Aggregation When transformed, the data is clean, accurate, consistent and ready for analysis by the data warehouse users. Data can be transformed in two ways: †¢ Multistage Data Transformation †¢ Pipelined Data Transformation The most†¦show more content†¦Most of the tasks are completed outside the database, for example step 1 to 4 as shown in figure 6 below and then is inserted into the warehouse table. FIGURE 6: PIPELINED DATA TRANSFORMATION 2.2.2 Cleansing Data Data cleansing is the process of removing incorrect, inappropriate and duplicate data. It can also be called data cleaning or data scrubbing. Not cleansing the data will lead to inaccurate and unreliable results. During the process of cleansing data, if dirty data is detected, it will have to be modified and will therefore cause delays within the process. Dirty data can be caused by the following: †¢ Members of an organization are poorly trained and will therefore enter data erroneously. †¢ Inaccurate system configuration rules are applied. †¢ Regular data updates are neglected. †¢ Inconsistent or lack of validation rules. †¢ Duplicates are not removed. Data cleansing can be performed within single or multiple sets of data. Usually problems within single data sets are due to misspellings when entering data of that they have left out missing information when inputting. When problems occur within multiple data sets e.g. in a data warehouse, the need to cleanse data increases greatly. This is because the data is more than likely to have redundant data from different sources, and will therefore have to make sure all

Warming up by stretching ensures that you prevent a chance of injury during exercise. Also it allows you to be physically and mentally ready for the sport as it motivates you. There are three phases to a warm up, an aerobic phase, a stretch and flexibility phase, and then a skills and intensive exercise. A warm up should be suitable for the sport that the participant is about to play. The gradual increase of stress on the body reduces a chance of injury, and the pulse and body temperature are raised to nearer the working rate. The changes to the body as a result of warming up are that the body systems, muscles and joints gradually become used to working harder. Also, by concentrating in warm up activities there is a chance that you could gain an advantage on your opposition by having a better start to a match.  There are different types of stretches that can be involved in a warm up. There are static, assisted, and dynamic stretches.Static- easing the muscle into the stretched position and holding it for 10-15 seconds. Assisted- when the action is affected by pushing against a friend or a wall.Dynamic- by moving into the stretch position and bouncing the muscle.
